On January 24th, as the Spring Festival approached, Liu Xiaotao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, visited the Suzhou Campus of Renmin University of China to offer condolences to the expert team of the Suzhou Institute of Artificial Intelligence. Zheng Xinye, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Renmin University of China, participated in the condolence activity.

Liu Xiaotao extended Spring Festival greetings to the expert team of the Suzhou Institute of Artificial Intelligence (Suzhou Artificial Intelligence Laboratory). He pointed out that the state is vigorously promoting scientific and technological innovation, and the field of artificial intelligence is an important strategic direction. The research, development, and talent cultivation of the new institute and laboratory should be closely aligned with national strategies, contributing to the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. As a strong industrial city, Suzhou has a solid industrial foundation. It is hoped that the scientific research and talent cultivation at the Suzhou Campus of Renmin University of China will be closely integrated with Suzhou's industries. Through industry-university-research cooperation, the advantages of scientific research and talents in universities can be complemented by the industrial advantages of the local area, jointly promoting industrial upgrading and transformation. It is hoped that the expert team will firmly commit to developing in Suzhou, lead the team to focus on scientific research and innovation, attract and cultivate more high-quality talents, overcome more key and core technologies, provide strong support for the development of new productive forces in Suzhou, and propel Suzhou's high-quality development to a new level.

Since its establishment, the Suzhou Institute of Artificial Intelligence has taken market demand and industrial application as its core, striving to build an integrated platform for government, industry, academia, research, and application, achieving high-level coordinated development with the artificial intelligence industry in Suzhou and the Yangtze River Delta region, and fully supporting major national strategies. It is hoped that in the future, there will be further cooperation with Suzhou to jointly contribute to the development of the country's strategic emerging industries and the construction of a world-class university with Chinese characteristics.
