On June 20, 343 students from RUC Suzhou Campus participated in the 2025 Degree Conferment Ceremony . Attendees included Zhang Donggang, Chair of the University Council; Wang Xiaohu, Vice President of RUC; and Liu Bo, Vice Mayor of Suzhou. Representatives of faculty and staff from relevant departments and schools of RUC were also present to witness this sacred and memorable moment. Tang Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Suzhou Campus, presided over the ceremony.  

Zhang Donggang, Wang Xiaohu, and professors Jean-Francois VERGNAUD, Feng Shounong, Tang Jie, Jiang Xiaoli, Xu Wei, Yu Kun, and Hu Debao conferred degrees and hooded the graduates..

Zhang Donggang stated that we are now situated in an era of monumental scale and boundless possibilities, shouldering the great mission of serving the Party and national strategies, seizing unprecedented opportunities, and navigating a vast space full of potential. He extended his hopes to all graduates, urging them to embrace history and uphold their original aspirations. He emphasized the importance of cherishing the “treasured legacy” of revolutionary spirit and founding ideals, ensuring that the university's character—“a university established by the Party that reassures the Party, a university of the people that does not disappoint the people”—becomes a lifelong spiritual compass. He urged students to embrace the times and pursue excellence, carrying forward the fine tradition of "always advancing at the forefront of the era," and, in the process of engaging in profound changes and embracing a new era, to inject "youthful momentum" into shaping new engines for global development with wisdom, courage, and creativity. He also called on students to cherish the motherland and strive with perseverance, aligning with the country's development and resonating with the needs of the people, transcending personal gains and losses with a pure heart, integrating individual efforts into national development, and contributing to the nation's progress and social advancement while realizing personal value. With a global vision and concern for humanity, graduateds are encouraged to deeply understand the trajectory of world development and hold the lofty aspiration to contribute wisdom and strength to human peace and progress, thereby making greater contributions to the cause of national rejuvenation, the advancement of human civilization, and writing magnificent chapters for RUC, China, and all of humanity.
